Grand Cayman has a great running community and offers running opportunities for people of all abilities, from marathoners to Sunday afternoon joggers.
The Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon is held annually on the first Sunday in December. The event consists of a full marathon, half marathon, four-person relay and Kids Fun Run. It is extremely popular with both local and visiting runners alike. It’s also a Boston Marathon Qualifier. Run Club Cayman (RCC) is a welcoming community that meets every Tuesday morning (5.45am) at Governor's Village to run together. It is free of charge and open to all fitness levels. Whether you're an experienced runner or prefer a leisurely walk, Run Club Cayman is for everyone. Join them and enjoy the camaraderie of the group and experience fitness in a fun and inclusive way.
Moore Morning Run, Walk & Talk hosts a monthly 5K event dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues in the Cayman. Join them on the first Friday of every month at 6am at Cassia Court, Camana Bay. Post-run you can also join them for breakfast catered by Jessie's, where a representative from the Alex Panton Foundation will lead discussions on key mental health topics. Register here for free.
