Several stables and riding schools in the Cayman Islands offer riding lessons or beach rides along the beautiful Seven Mile Beach.
Cayman Riding School is a traditional English riding school offering jumping, dressage, cross country, vaulting and lead line lessons (from 3 yrs) for children and adults. Affiliated with The British Pony Club they hold monthly Pony Clubs on Saturdays and children earn badges and rosettes. Boarding for horses and ponies is available. Camps are offered during all school vacations and are usually sold out. They run from 8.30am-12.30pm and are very popular. The school boasts a GGT jumping arena, cross country course, BHS/FEI qualified instructors and a miniature children’s farm for birthday parties. The Equestrian Center offers English riding lessons for beginners through advanced (five years and up) with FEI qualified instructors, also training dressage, showjumping and vaulting. They also offer boarding/livery with tailored feeding and training schedules for your horse and host CIEF shows in showjumping and dressage. Cowboy Town Stables in Lower Valley offers general horsemanship and riding along with therapeutic horsemanship and adaptive riding programmes. Their PATH certified instructors specialise in teaching developing riders as well as those with physical, mental, social and emotional disabilities/disorders.
