Grand Cayman has three fully equipped hospitals: Cayman Islands Hospital, Doctors Hospital, and Health City Cayman Islands. Cayman Brac is home to Faith Hospital, serving the residents of both Cayman Brac and Little Cayman with primary, secondary and emergency care.
George Town Hospital, located in Grand Cayman, is the principal healthcare facility and is operated by the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority (HSA). It is a 127-bed, two-story facility that offers a wide range of services, including accident and emergency care, surgery, critical care, physiotherapy, and much more.
Doctors Hospital, formerly known as Chrissy Tomlinson Memorial Hospital, is also located in Grand Cayman and is a private hospital. It offers a variety of services, including urgent care, diagnostics, surgery and various other specialisations.
Health City Cayman Islands, also located in Grand Cayman over two sites, is a multi-specialty hospital that focuses on advanced medical, surgical, and rehabilitative care.
In addition to these three main hospitals, there is a smaller hospital, Faith Hospital, located on Cayman Brac, that also serves the residents of Little Cayman. It provides primary, secondary and emergency care.
It is important to note that while these hospitals offer a wide range of services, some specialisations may not be available. In these cases, patients may need to be referred to a hospital overseas.
