The airport offers non-stop flights to more than 20 cities, including daily flights between Grand Cayman and the Sister Islands, making island-hopping and onward travel simple and convenient!
Cayman Airways, the national flag carrier, offers flights to eleven destinations, including Miami, Jamaica and the Sister Islands. They are also considering the west coast as a potential area for expansion, with possible gateway cities including San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix and Austin.
Alternatively, international carriers such as Air Canada, American Airlines, British Airways, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, United Airlines and WestJet provide weekly or seasonal service to cities across the US, Canada, the Caribbean, Central America and Europe.
Cayman Islands tourism is also on a strong upward trajectory; on pace to match, or exceed, its record-breaking performance of 2019. In the first quarter of 2025 alone, stayover visitation increased by 5.3% compared to the same period in 2024, with particularly strong growth in January (7.7%) and February (7.1%). This continued momentum reflects the Islands’ growing appeal and excellent air connectivity.
Whether you have a single weekend or an entire week to travel and with so many choices of where to go and how to get there, this chapter will help you narrow down the options by suggesting a few places you can visit.
