Cayman Airways offers weekly non-stop flights to Denver, Colorado.
Whilst this route was is mainly a tourism initiative to target the large community of divers in Denver, it comes with the added bonus of putting many of the world’s best ski resorts in Cayman’s reach.
Cayman’s snow-sport fanatics have flocked to Denver for years, frequenting resorts such as Breckenridge and Steamboat Springs, and it is not hard to see why. With vast slopes, Olympic snow parks, some of America’s highest mountains, and altitudes that almost guarantee great powder snow, Colorado’s resorts are equipped for any level from the novice to the pro.
Despite attracting less visitors in the summer months, Colorado has as much to offer during this time as it does in the winter. Once the snow melts the ski resorts and millions of acres of National Parks transform into a playground for mountain biking, hiking, golfing and camping, and the stunning lakes which go amiss in the winter become great spots for boating, rafting and fishing.
The journey from Cayman to Denver is a five hour flight. The service operates weekly (on Saturdays) throughout the peak tourism period (December-August).
