The Cayman Islands Basketball Association (CIBA) organises various leagues and clinics throughout the year for kids, teens and adults.
The Cayman Islands Basketball Association programme participates in international competitions and currently has four leagues: U12, U14, U16 and U19, along with senior leagues separated by gender.
Their after-school basketball training is available for students up to 16 years and practice takes place on Thursdays and Fridays from 3.30pm-5.30pm at the King's Sports Centre. The cost is CI$10 a month. They also meet on Saturday mornings during the school period for three age groups: 7-9 years, 10-12 years and 13-16 years old.
The U18 national training programme takes place at the First Baptist Church gym on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5.30pm-7.30pm.
They also offer a breakfast club at JGHS from Monday-Friday 5.30am-7.30am where the kids get breakfast and they have guided basketball lessons with Coach Cory McGee. They also host a Basketball Academy on Saturday mornings during the school period for three age groups: ages 7-9 years, ages 10-12 years and ages 13-16 years old.
