Does your child have a love for technology and science? The activities below will help them learn more about their passions in a fun-filled environment.
TechCayman Education offers an exciting opportunity for children aged 11 and up to explore technology and engineering in a fun, hands-on environment. Their Robotics Camps are held monthly over a single, two-day weekends from 9am to 3pm, making it easy for busy families to fit this enriching experience into their schedules. TechCayman proudly covers all costs for these camps, ensuring participation is entirely free and accessible to all.
These camps introduce children to key concepts in engineering, physics, and programming, helping them develop practical skills while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. By sparking an early interest in STEM fields, the programme aims to inspire the next generation of Cayman’s tech leaders and innovators.
During the camp, each team of two participants is guided by a dedicated mentor, working together with robotics kits and programming tools to design robots capable of solving increasingly complex challenges. It’s an engaging way for your child to gain confidence in STEM while having fun with peers. Mentors are also welcome, and no prior experience is required for students or mentors!
Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out! Email: education@techcayman.com or WhatsApp (345) 326 0148 to learn more or register your child.
Minds Inspired also runs two annual robotics competitions – SeaPerch and the FIRST Tech Challenge.
Both competitions are open to all Cayman Islands High School students, and interested students should talk to their science and technology teachers.
