The Health Insurance Law (2013), the Health Insurance Regulations (2013) and the Insurance Law (2010) provide the framework for monitoring and regulating the health insurance industry in the Cayman Islands.
Approximately 94% of Cayman’s population is covered by health insurance. Health insurance is mandatory for all residents in the Cayman Islands and must be obtained through one of the approved insurance providers listed below, which includes the Government-owned CINICO.
