Fountains and water parks are a fun and family-friendly way to enjoy a day out in the sunshine!
Starfish Cay, located on the resort side of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, is home to winding waterslides, fountains and a giant water bucket. All children under ten years of age must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. Starfish Cay is open from 10am-4pm daily. Day passes may only be purchased on the same day you intend to use the waterpark, not in advance. Private birthday party bookings are also available. Availability is limited and there are certain busy holiday seasons when day passes are unavailable. It is highly recommended to call the day before you plan to visit. SPLASH at Seafire is a 14,000sq ft splash park for children ages 4-12, featuring elements of Cayman’s native flora and fauna. The park is open from 10am-4pm daily for guests of the hotel and also for residents if there is availability and the spot is booked in advance. Visit Kimpton Seafire Resport & Spa to check for an opening and book a day pass, children under two are complimentary.
Camana Bay features two popular fountain play areas for children. The Jasmine Court fountain, located in the shaded area beside the Camana Bay Cinema is gentle and interactive, making it perfect for little ones. The Cresent fountain with powerful jets that go as high as 30 feet every ten minutes is better suited for older children. These well-loved areas often include life-sized building blocks for added enjoyment. Both fountains are free for children to enjoy between 10am-10pm.
The Cayman Turtle Centre offers two waterfalls, a large pool and the exciting Turtle Twister waterslide, which is 15ft high and 100ft long. It is great fun and loved by children and adults alike! For more information, call (345) 949 3894 or visit their website.
