About Royal Alexandra & Albert School
The Royal Alexandra and Albert School is a co-educational, non-selective state boarding school for children age 7-18. The school is situated in 260 acres of beautiful parkland in Gatton Park, Surrey, near London in the UK, and only 20 minutes from Gatwick Airport and 45 minutes from Heathrow Airport. It’s home to around 430 full boarders and 650 local flexi boarders.
At the core of the School’s boarding community is an understanding of pupil needs and a commitment to an inclusive, all-round education – in the truest sense of the word. That is, development of strong values, character, resilience and independence, as well as academic achievement.

Extracurricular Activities
The many activities which are an integral part of the life of this busy community are not regarded as "extra-curricular" at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School. They form part of the everyday experience of pupils. Pupils can take part in numerous activities, including many team and individual sports, dance, kayaking or the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme, to name but a few. The range of activities on offer is wide, and designed to appeal to pupils of all ages and tastes.
