For private schools please contact them directly. Unless you are a teachers assistant, all private schools will expect you to have a PGCE. All private nursery schools will expect you to have an Early Childhood qualification and experience.
Teaching and education jobs in the Government schools, as well as positions within the Ministry of Education, are posted on www.careers.gov.ky. To apply for a position you must create a profile on the website and then it will let you apply for a specific position. The same job can also be posted on the Ministry of Education's Facebook page: @educationcayman. Teacher recruitment is typically done from January to August, with late resignations and support staff being recruited from late August to December. You can also email: careers@gov.ky with questions. Employment contracts for teachers are generally two years in length, include a range of benefits and are subject to an annual performance process
