Mixed Activities Summer Camps

Footsteps' Trekker Camp is led by a qualified teacher from Footsteps and is open for children on island aged 4 to 11 years old.

The camp will be based at Footsteps School and will include:

- Island excursions

- Outdoor nature activities

- Arts and crafts

- Games

- Treasure hunts and much more!

Learn how to create multiple ceramic pottery and sculptures using the pottery wheel, hand-building, and glazing techniques.

​The summer camp at Kings Sports Centre has been occurring annually for the past seventeen years. Its purpose is to provide a place where kids can gain self-confidence, social skills, independence, creativity, physical skills, and leadership while having fun in a safe and secure environment. They believe that children have unique and individual needs and are encouraged to learn about healthy life practices.

This camp includes all activities, one lunch and two breaks, as well as all supplies needed to carry out activities.

The Teen Lead On Programme is designed for teens who demonstrate a desire to learn, lead, and serve. This unique programme will strengthen leadership skills utilising the experiential learning model.

Comprising a variety of workshops and seminars, Teen Lead On will utilise the Ropes Challenge Course and other adventure-based elements across the island to provide teens with specialty leadership training. Globally, the YMCA has a rich history of leadership development programming, with a focus on social, emotional and cognitive youth development that helps you and teen learn, grow, and thrive.

Teens who complete the programme will receive an official YMCA Leadership plaque and certificate that will assist with school and job applications. The teens will also be provided with opportunities to volunteer with YMCA programmes, with an expectation that they serve minimum of 60 hours within 6 months of programme completion.

Weekly themes include Little Artists, 'D' for Dinosaur, Lovin' LEGO!, Under the Sea! and Going Green!

Children can enjoy a range of indoor activities such as: Lego, Lego Robotics, games, quizzes, arts and crafts. Every day (weather permitting) they participate in an outdoor water activity with Sea Elements such as: boat trips, snorkel trips, kayaking and beach games.

Depending on the season, Camp Seafire host a different themed camp! All camps include various fun activities relating to S.T.E.A.M theme. Splash at Seafire, pool, ocean and fun activities all week long.

Join Sky Blue Aquatics for their 5 ocean themed days. Action-packed with snorkelling and creative D.I.Y arts to take home each day, along with exploring, identifying and learning all about the ocean on your snorkel adventures!

Learn how to become a princess or superhero in this week long, half day summer camp. Run by Cinderella's Enchanted Parties, the camp will include singing, dancing, acting, table etiquette, practice being a princess or superhero, and there will be Disney and Marvel themed drama/acting.

Join Spider-Man, Black Panther, Moana and Mirabel for a week of singing, dancing, acting and Disney themed crafts.

SNAP camp is a summer day camp for children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties. This 5 day camp includes educational and recreational activities that will teach campers strategies to better manage their emotions and keep their problems small!

Cayman Theraplay hosts various camps through the summer holidays including a Jungle Explorers camp, a Get, Set, Ready for School camp and a few others.

Campers will experience a combo of marine and terrestrial adventures now including the Mastic Trail and other cultural experiences. Ocean Frontiers have expanded their programme beyond the seas to create a diverse eco experience. The focus is to keep the campers outside in the natural environment to engage with the world around them and see what they have learned from the class sessions in action.

Integrated arts activities including singing, acting, dance/movement, story telling, and loads of fun and games. Also includes a final performance at the end of each week.

Activities include band jamming, performing, ear training, music appreciation, instrument mastery, studio time, drum circle, music lessons, karaoke, World Music and field trips. Some weeks may include dance, art, yoga and musical theatre.

For advanced musicians:

• learn songs by favourite bands
• master a new musical instrument
• play in a rock band
• go up a skill level

Taking tennis and pickleball to all the kids from 3-14 years of age who want to learn the sport, no prior experience necessary. Providing a safe and secure learning environment. Building a strong foundation and love for the game. Ensuring that every camper succeeds and has fun during their development.

There will be a lot of fun games and activities like tennis, pickleball and crafts! They also have an air conditioned clubhouse where you can do variety of activities like arts and crafts regardless of weather conditions.

Daily yoga, mindfulness, nature exploration, games, arts and crafts, and so much more!

During the CMEC students focus on tropical marine ecology and conservation. Learning from CCMI scientists & educators, no two days are the same as they dive, snorkel, and explore a pristine reef system.

CMEC LEVEL 1

Camp activities in CMEC Level 1 are designed to be an immersive introduction to tropical marine ecology. We’ll go on dive and snorkel outings to practice coral & fish identification, observe a lionfish dissection, participate in engaging classroom lectures about important reef topics, take part in a night snorkel, play beach games, share memories around an evening bonfire, and much more! Targeting marine ecology basics, we encourage students to gain leadership skills through group settings and team building activities.

CMEC LEVEL 2

This course is perfect for students who have already participated in CMEC Level 1, as it develops information further from that first camp experience. Students spend one week living amongst CCMI scientists & educators, building upon their prior knowledge, while developing new and more specialised skills amongst peers. This can include field work in our coral nursery, reef surveys, and advanced fish & coral identification skills. This experience is certain to take your passion for coral reefs to the next level!

Explore the outdoors with Cayman Islands National Museums as their 2022 Immerse Summer Camp teaches campers about the History and Culture of our beautiful Islands. Journey with them for either week 1 or 2 at this year's Immerse Summer Camp!

Highlights include: Educational lectures, kayaking in the Mangroves, Cayman Crystal Caves, Cayman Parrot Sanctuary and Arts & Crafts

Centre Point Dance School has an action packed schedule filled with singing, acting, dancing, crafting and much more. In usual CPDS style, they want to make this camp a learning opportunity for every camper hence they have a performance-based afternoon activity planned for each day of the week. CPDS is offering your performer the opportunity to experience life as a ‘full-time’ performance school student.

Squash, yoga, arts and crafts, fun games and a field trip!

Swimming, Synchro & Snorkel Camp - experience not required, but a great intro into aquatic sports! There will also be daily land and water-skills training, crafts, weekly field trips, games and more! Led by CBAC coaching staff and junior coaches.

Montessori inspired activities, STEM, drama, sports, nature activities, field trips, arts and crafts.

Its that time again for Creative Fashion Summer Camp. Express your creativity while learning the basic skills of a fashion designer. All materials will be provided.

Experience the daily care and keep of a pony. Riding, trail rides, vaulting and arts/crafts/games around the farm! Campers will be split into appropriate riding groups for their age and experience.

No experience necessary.
