Founded in 1971, the Cayman Rugby Football Union has been the island's rugby destination for over 50 years! Based in South Sound, the Union administers and delivers rugby programs throughout the Cayman Islands for both adults and youth players.
National Rugby Programme
The National Rugby Programme contains male, female and youth teams that travel abroad to represent the island in international competitions like the Rugby Americas North (RAN) tournament and the Freeport Youth Tournament.
Domestic Rugby Programme
Cayman's Domestic Rugby Programme consists of four teams: Buccaneers RFC, Cayman Storm RFC, Iguanas RFC and Pigs Trotters RFC. These teams compete in a series of domestic tournaments including the Summer Sevens Series, Alex Alexander Memorial and more.

Youth up to 19 years of age play in the Maples Group Youth Rugby Program. The schedule is as follows:

Summer Corporate Touch Rugby League
This mixed touch rugby league is open to male and female players each summer. Created in 2002, it has become one of the largest sport leagues on Island with 38 teams spread across three divisions. The season is typically played from June to September.
