The Cayman Nature Store, in partnership with the Cayman Islands National Trust, was established in 1987 with the mission of preserving the island's natural and historic environments for future generations. The Trust focuses on four main areas: the environment, history, culture, and education.
The store promotes sustainable living by offering a wide range of eco-friendly products, including reusable shopping bags, beeswax wraps, and bamboo utensils. It also features locally made art, fragrances, cookbooks, sauces, and seasonings, all aimed at supporting sustainable practices and shopping locally while celebrating the Cayman Islands’ rich cultural heritage.
Visitors can purchase the "Explorer Passport," which highlights 40 natural and historic sites across the islands, such as nature reserves, old Caymanian homes, and other historic landmarks. Located in Dart Family Park, the store offers a perfect spot for families to enjoy a day out while encouraging children’s interest in the island’s natural environment. Local children’s books and nature-inspired toys are also available for purchase.
All proceeds from the store go towards supporting ongoing conservation efforts throughout the Cayman Islands, ensuring the protection of the island’s unique natural beauty and historic sites.
