About Xenia Sotiriou
Therapist Xenia Sotiriou, B.A, M. Ed, Adv. Dip, PhD, holds a B.A. (Hons) in Human Communication and Psychology, an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology, and an Advanced Diploma in Counseling from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. She also earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, where her research applied Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) principles to explore group and individual dynamics.
With extensive experience as a therapist, Xenia works with adults addressing a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, and grief. She takes a flexible, client-centered approach, integrating techniques from Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy, and attachment-informed approaches to meet the specific needs of each individual.
Xenia is deeply committed to helping people overcome personal challenges by identifying and transforming repetitive patterns of behavior and relational dynamics that contribute to current difficulties. She emphasizes a systemic and attachment-informed perspective, supporting individuals in understanding how their relationships, with others and with themselves, shape emotional experiences and well-being.
