About Dr. Marc Lockhart
Marc Lockhart, MD has been a practicing consultant psychiatrist in the Cayman Islands for over 20 years. Dr. Lockhart is the Medical Director of BHAC, and a senior consultant at The Health Services Authority where he also manages clinical duties for forensic (Prisons) and Spanish language services.
He practiced at The Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital (now Doctor’s Hospital) and served twice as their Chief of Medical Staff. Dr. Lockhart is a former Chairman of The Cayman Islands Mental Health Commission and has previously served as Deputy Director of The Health Practice Commission. Dr. Lockhart received the honour of Emerging Pioneer in January 2015, which was presented to him for his significant contribution to the development of healthcare services in the Cayman Islands. His areas of special interest and clinical focus include emergency psychiatry and psychopharmacology. Dr. Lockhart provides the full spectrum of psychiatric services for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
