About The Family Resource Centre
The FRC is dedicated to providing a wide range of services and programmes to promote and support healthy family relationships.
The programmes are free, short or long term, and they equip families with tools and strategies to parent confidently.
Programmes include: Co-Parenting Workshops, Fathers First Workshop and Parenting Inside Out. The FRC also provides a walk-in service for crisis intervention and assessment of victims of family violence to ensure appropriate referrals to community resources, and emotional support and guidance.
Crisis Intervention & Advocacy services are offered Monday-Friday from 12.30pm-4.30pm. “Legal Befrienders” also offer free legal advice as a walk-in clinic on Tuesdays from 5pm-6.30pm.The legal advice is confidential, free and can include, but is not limited to: domestic violence, divorce, immigration, child matters and property.
