About St. Ignatius Catholic School
St. Ignatius Catholic School is a private co-educational school in the Cayman Islands for children from ages 3 to 18.
Fundamental to everything they do is that a Catholic education integrates body, mind and spirit, and fosters the search for knowledge as a lifelong spiritual and intellectual quest. Expectations for the children encompass the gaining of knowledge and skills, but also good values and actions, and a great attitude to life.
Founded in 1971 and now in its 47th year, St. Ignatius is proud of its history of providing quality academic, athletic, artistic and spiritual programmes for all students.
The strong home-school-parish relationship has created a genuine family atmosphere where young people are welcome from all social and cultural backgrounds and from around the world. Fundamental to this is the belief that parents are the primary educators of children and that schools are there to support and nurture this role.
