About Simply Weddings
Joy Basdeo MBE, the main officiant and wedding planner for Simply Weddings, has more than 25 years experience as a Civil Registrar of Marriages in the Cayman Islands. Joy has officiated over 3,100 weddings, as well as Wedding Vow Renewals and Wedding Blessings. She also performs Civil Partnership unions.
Cayman residents can choose the basic package which includes all the legal requirements for a wedding or civil union, including the use of a decorated Wedding Room, and a Bridal Room where brides can get dressed. Simply Weddings works with a list of preferred vendors whose work and professionalism they guarantee.
Joy and her husband Sam work together to help visitors build a personalised wedding ceremony down to the most meaningful details. They offer a range of services from simple Cayman Weddings to All Inclusive Cayman Cruise Wedding packages. Elopements are also welcome, and no lead time is necessary once the documents are in order.
Simply Weddings also offer customised beach weddings, where all designs are tailored specifically for you. They can organise wedding cakes, decorated chairs, special order flowers, limousines, as well as harpist or steel pan performances.
