The programme is a government initiative supported by major employers, which began in 2010.

This employment preparedness course offers programmes designed to enhance workplace readiness skills and increase the employability of Caymanians. Participants develop practical skills through training seminars, personal development sessions, community service and work experience opportunities that help prepare them for the world of work.

Applicants are encouraged to register with Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC), which connects job seekers with employment opportunities, as well as training, internship and apprenticeship programmes.
