About LIFE Ltd - Literacy is for Everyone
Founded in 2012, LIFE Ltd – Literacy Is For Everyone is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to significantly increasing literacy levels across the Cayman Islands through awareness, advocacy, and impactful programmes supporting children, families, and educators. LIFE's Literacy Ladder programme has donated more than 105,330 books to the community, helping to build home, classroom, and school libraries. Its programmes include Paired Reading, which pairs volunteers with students to build confidence and a love of reading; Thrive by Five, an evidence-based early years programme supporting children from birth to five through language- and print-rich environments, curated classroom libraries, staff training and coaching, parent engagement workshops, and vision and hearing screenings delivered in partnership with community organisations; and Ready Set GROW, an early literacy initiative that builds children’s enjoyment of language and literacy while strengthening parental confidence, the home learning environment, and school readiness.
