Hope Academy offers a full-time educational programme designed especially for those who would benefit from a smaller learning environment.
This includes students with average to above-average intelligence who may be dealing with specific learning difficulties, ADHD, high-functioning Pervasive Development Disorder (or mild Autistic Spectrum Disorder), anxiety-based disorders and/or other challenges.
Curriculum: Hope Academy offers an American curriculum that fosters learning through creativity, discovery, and imagination within a small learning environment. A full, online homeschooling programme is available for middle and high school students. The inclusive classrooms and flexible methodology cater to each students’ individual needs. Everything is geared towards helping each child reach their full potential. This starts in early Elementary and encourages a love of learning while building early literacy skills. It continues through High School, where it encourages independence and responsibility, while preparing for college. Please note an academic screening is usually required upon enrolment. Hope Academy is not affiliated with any religious organisation or church.
Special Needs Education & Resources: In addition to a regular education curriculum, Hope Academy also offers
other programmes and services to facilitate an inclusive learning
environment. They are also a registered healthcare facility and offer
Speech and Language therapy, Behaviour therapy, school-based ABA therapy
and Neuropsychological and Psycho-educational evaluations. These
services are also available for those not attending Hope Academy. Please see the Hope Academy (Clinical Services) profile for more information.
