About Hell (Geological Site)
Located in West Bay, Hell is a unique geological wonder of rugged blackened limestone. The jagged formations are a result of millions of years of evolution and due to acid rain and consumption of the rock carbonate-loving organisms. This erosion has left an eerie and desolate looking landscape, earning the location its name.
It is named “Hell” due to its resemblance to what one may picture hell to look like.
There is also the Hell Post Office - here, you can mail a postcard with a Hell postmark to prove you have been to Hell and back!
Although it is a unique experience, guests usually only spend about 10 minutes there, unless they are fascinated with geology. Entry is free.
