About Enterprise Cayman
Enterprise Cayman is a non-profit organisation powered by Cayman Enterprise City (CEC) in partnership with Cayman Islands' Special Economic Zone Companies (SEZCos).
The organisation, which applies the Theory of Change (TOC) methodology, provides Caymanians and residents with access to high-quality learning experiences and opportunities to develop and launch new business ventures, pursue careers within the technology and innovation sectors, and join a dynamic network of industry professionals.
Career Development
Enterprise Cayman runs a diverse programme of events, workshops, courses, internships, and work placements in partnership with CEC’s vibrant business community, designed to provide Caymanians and residents of the Cayman Islands with the skills and expertise to secure employment in Cayman’s bustling digital economy.
Support includes:
- Internships.
- Tech Training including the UCCI-EC Digital Skills Certificate.
- The CyberSandbox, a community with biweekly sessions that encourages collaboration, professional development, and peer-to-peer support within an innovative tech ecosystem.
- A Jobs Portal and Employment Database with access to career opportunities in the Special Economic Zone.
In addition, Enterprise Cayman has partnered with two innovative organisations to provide even more training and programmes:
- Cisco Networking Academy, one of the world's largest and longest running cooperate social responsibility (CSR) education programmes. Through their partnership with the Cisco initiative, Enterprise Cayman now offers certificated courses in Networking, Cybersecurity and Operations & IT.
- Oracle Academy who offers a wide range of free technology education teaching and learning resources, including a curriculum with quizzes and exams, short learning modules, software, cloud technology, practice environments, and more.
Entrepreneurship
Enterprise Cayman runs a variety of programmes, events, and workshops and offers working spaces to help entrepreneurs make the best of their ideas.
Support includes:
- The Cayman Islands Business Design Competition to help foster innovation.
- Practical resources and opportunities for entrepreneurs including mentoring, workshops, access to funding and more through Launch Labs Studios.
- Events – including networking events, panel discussions, demo days and more.
- Access to creative spaces and new technologies.
