About Enterprise Cayman
Enterprise Cayman is a non-profit organisation (NPO) powered by Cayman Enterprise City (CEC) in partnership with Cayman Islands Special Economic Zone companies (SEZCos).
The organisation, which applies the Theory of Change (TOC) methodology, provides Caymanians and residents with access to learning opportunities, professional development programmes and entrepreneurship support designed to help them pursue careers, launch ventures, and participate in Cayman’s growing innovation ecosystem. Through its programmes and initiatives, Enterprise Cayman supports the next generation of Caymanian innovators, entrepreneurs, and professionals by promoting skills development, career readiness, and entrepreneurship.
Career Development
Enterprise Cayman delivers a range of events, workshops, training programmes, internships, and career development initiatives designed to help participants build in-demand skills and pursue opportunities within the technology and innovation sectors.
Support includes:
- Tech Training including the Pathways in Tech Programme, Cisco Networking Academy courses, and Certificate Programmes.
- The CyberSandbox, a technology community delivered in collaboration with the Cayman Islands Computer Science Society (CICSS), providing opportunities to develop technical skills, connect with industry professionals and engage with Cayman's growing technology ecosystem.
- A Jobs Portal and Employment Database with access to career opportunities in the Special Economic Zone.
- Internships, providing individuals aged 18 and over with opportunities to gain hands-on industry experience and develop professional skills.
- FutureMe Cayman, a career development initiative that helps participants explore career pathways, strengthen professional skills, and prepare for future employment opportunities
Entrepreneurship
Enterprise Cayman supports entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey through practical programmes, resources and networking opportunities designed to help transform ideas into successful ventures.
Support includes:
- The Cayman Islands Business Design Competition, designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Launch Labs Studios, providing entrepreneurship workshops, mentoring, networking opportunities, and practical business support.
- Launch Labs Incubator, powered by DMZ, helping founders build scalable, investor-ready businesses.
- Enterprise Cayman Events, including workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities that connect participants with industry professionals and the wider innovation community.
