Remembrance Day is a national public holiday honouring the men and women who served and gave their lives in times of war and conflict. The day pays tribute to Caymanians and others who stood in defence of freedom, peace, and democracy. A traditional wreath-laying ceremony takes place at the Cenotaph in George Town and in Cayman Brac, attended by veterans, uniformed services, officials, and members of the community.
