Flowers One Mile Sea Swim
The Flowers Sea Swim returns for its 34th year on Saturday, 13 June 2026, bringing swimmers and supporters together for Grand Cayman’s flagship open water event along Seven Mile Beach. The one-mile sea swim welcomes almost 1,000 participants each year, with swimmers ranging from first-timers to Olympians and world-class open water specialists.
Alongside its beautiful course, the event is known for random prizes, with over US$100,000 in cash and prizes and stated odds of 1-in-7 for swimmers. All swim registration proceeds support the Swim Free Program. Flowers Sea Swim registration is US$60, Walk & Watch is US$30, and Walk & Watch with T-shirt is US$60.

Duration: Course closes at 3:45 pm; finish ceremony and awards begin at 4 pm
Open to swimmers aged 8 to 80, from novices and first-timers to experienced open water competitors. Walk & Watch is available for non-swimmers, including family members and supporters who want to be part of the beachside event.

Parking at both the start and finish is limited, and participants are encouraged to carpool or use public transport. Swimmers should be at the start between 12:30 pm and 1:45 pm for race number marking and swim cap collection. Check-in closes at 1:45 pm sharp. A swimmer briefing and headcount are scheduled for 2:10 pm.Swimmers must wear the provided swim cap for the full race. Casual swimmers are advised to place themselves toward the rear of the start field. Participants are responsible for supplying their own goggles. Goody bags and race T-shirts are collected at the finish by showing a race number.The usual Stuff Shuttle service will not be available, but the organiser plans to have a bus shuttle between start and finish locations from 12:30 pm to 5 pm on race day. First aid and water safety support will be available along the course.
