Gimistory Auditions
Gimistory Auditions invite storytellers, singers and poets to share original work for the 2026 Cayman Islands International Storytelling Festival. New voices, new stories and new faces are welcome, including people with an original story, family tale or story passed down through generations. The auditions are open to children aged 6+, adults, groups and all experience levels, with original songs, poetry and short stories welcomed. Anyone who has never appeared on the Gimistory stage before must audition.
When and Where:
Thursday 17th September 2026
Time: 4.30pm-7pm
Venue: Bodden Town Library
Saturday 19th September 2026
Time: 10am-12pm
Venue: Harquail Studio Theatre
Suitable for children aged 6+, adults and groups, with all experience levels welcome.
The auditions offer new performers a chance to share their work for Gimistory 2026.
Additional Information
First-time performers who have never appeared on the Gimistory stage before are required to audition. Original songs, poetry and short stories are welcomed, along with original stories and family tales. Video auditions can be submitted by email to production.assistant@artscayman.org.
