Heritage Month
Heritage Month is a national celebration of Caymanian identity, culture and history, observed throughout May under the theme “Threads to Our Traditions.” This coordinated initiative brings together a diverse programme of cultural events, performances, and community activities across the Cayman Islands.
Highlights include the Threads to Our Traditions: Gospel Concert, headlined by Tasha Cobbs Leonard with performances by local artists, as well as a special Heritage Month Church Service reflecting on the role of faith in Caymanian life. The month also honours Emancipation Day, a significant moment in Cayman’s history.
