Kiemanos: The Ira Thompson Collection Exhibition explores the origins of the Cayman Islands National Museum’s nucleus collection and the life of the man behind it. The exhibition invites visitors into the world of Ira Thompson, a taxi driver, hobbyist, and passionate collector whose efforts laid the foundation for the Museum.

Featuring artefacts from the original collection alongside personal items loaned by the Thompson family, the exhibition offers a deeper understanding of Thompson’s dedication to preserving Caymanian heritage and his lasting impact on the Islands. Admission fees apply, with concessions available for residents, children, and seniors.
