Tech Futures Week - Hackathon Challenge
Tech Futures Week’s Hackathon Challenge brings innovators together for a high-impact day of creativity, problem-solving and collaboration. Participants will design and prototype an engaging career discovery experience for young Caymanians, tackling challenges within the FutureMe Cayman platform.
Teams of two to five will be formed on the day, with concepts judged on quality, relevance, creativity, user experience and their potential to be incorporated into FutureMe Cayman. Participants will also compete for a US$5,000 cash prize. Admission is free and refreshments are provided.

Date: Saturday, 10 October 2026
Time: 10am–5:30pm
Venue: Signal House
All ages and abilities are welcome to compete for the cash prize. Participants must reside in the Cayman Islands.
Bring ideas, creativity and a willingness to collaborate for the chance to help shape a tool designed to support Cayman’s future talent.
Additional Information
Teams will be formed on the day, so participants do not need to select a team in advance. Teams will consist of two to five people.Participants must bring their own working computer and charger.An optional Hackathon Prep Session will take place on Wednesday, 30 September 2026 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, organised by the Cayman Islands Computer Science Society. Attendance is not mandatory.
