Beach Clean Up, Plastic Free Cayman

Plastic Free Cayman invites the community to help remove marine debris and illegal dumping from the shoreline at Safe Haven. Volunteers will work together to collect larger plastic waste as well as microplastics hidden in the sand, helping to protect Cayman's coastline and wildlife.

The clean-up also highlights Plastic Free Cayman's ongoing environmental initiatives and welcomes anyone interested in supporting cleaner beaches. Plastic Free Cayman shirts will be available for purchase during the event for CI$25 each, with all proceeds supporting the organisation's operations and environmental initiatives.

Date: Saturday, 1 August 2026

Time: 5pm – Sunset

Venue: Safe Haven

This event is suitable for individuals, families and community groups who would like to help keep Cayman’s beaches clean. Children are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.
