Beach Clean Up, Plastic Free Cayman

Plastic Free Cayman is hosting its next sunset beach clean-up in East End, helping tackle plastic pollution along the shoreline near East End Primary School. Volunteers can expect to collect a mixture of larger plastic debris and small microplastics from the sand.

Participants are encouraged to come prepared for an outdoor clean-up and help keep Cayman’s coastline cleaner. Plastic Free Cayman shirts will also be available for CI$25, with proceeds supporting the organisation’s operations. The event is supported by Cayman Power Marine, Red Sail Sports and RF Bank & Trust.

Time: 5pm–sunset
Venue: EE Primary School – concrete wall opposite the school

Volunteers should be prepared for an outdoor beach clean-up and bring suitable sun protection, footwear and reusable items as outlined by the organiser.
