About Dr. Virginia Hobday
Dr. Hobday qualified in medicine at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School in London and has been a general practitioner at Cayman Clinic since 2001.
Dr. Hobday has served as medical director of Jasmine since 2001, and is medical director of the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Society and president of the Cayman Islands Medical and Dental Society. She also sits on the Ethics Committee of the HSA.
In 2015, Dr. Hobday received a Heroes Day honour as an “Emerging Pioneer” in health services. That same year she was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in recognition of her work in hospice care.
