About Dr Lona Vyas
Dr. Lona Vyas is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with over 18 years of experience, specialising in cancer diagnostics and survivorship, men’s health, male fertility, and general urological procedures. Born and raised in Southern England, she completed her medical training at St. George’s, University of London, followed by specialist training across leading UK urology centres including Imperial, Guy’s and St Thomas’, and St James’ in Leeds, achieving FRCS. She went on to complete several years of subspecialist Andrology training and gained advanced microsurgical expertise in surgical sperm retrieval at NewYork-Presbyterian Cornell Hospital. Dr. Vyas previously served as a Consultant Urologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and held a private practice at King Edward VII’s Hospital in London’s Harley Street medical district. She takes an individualised, holistic approach to patient care and has contributed to international publications and academic teaching at Imperial College London and Sheffield University. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her young family, yoga, live music, records, and books.
