About Dr. Kai Morgan Campbell
Dr. Kai A. D. Morgan is a clinical psychologist in Grand Cayman.
During her doctoral studies her introduction to the world of assessments was an eye opener and almost immediately became her passion amongst the gamete of roles that a psychologist could play. After working at the University of West Indies and the University entrepreneur and consultant, where she continues to hone and expand her psychological skills in various areas, especially assessment.
She maintains a private practice where she continues to see individuals (adults, adolescents and children), couples, families and offers group intervention for a broad array of psychological issues including depression, anxiety, trauma-related loss, grief and bereavement and conducts psychological assessments for the diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Specific Learning Disorders, Personality Disorders, Neurocognitive Disorders, Autism Spectrum disorders and general emotional issues. To date, she has conducted and supervised over 2,000 assessments; has taught Assessment to Master and Doctoral students in Clinical Psychology; and conducted workshop and training sessions for same.
Dr. Morgan continues to teach part-time at the UWI, Mona Campus in the Masters in Clinical Psychology programme and has also done adjunct teaching in the past at UWI, Cave Hill Campus, (Barbados), the International University of the Caribbean (Jamaica), and Caribbean Graduate School of Theology (Jamaica).
Dr. Morgan is highly committed to the growth of psychology in the Caribbean region and in her role as the President of the Jamaican Psychological Society, she has ensured that this is a primary objective for several Ministries and non-profit organizations with whom JamPsych is aligned as the organization continues to advocate for the development of the profession and the protection of the consumers.
