About Dr. David Kwinter
Dr. David Kwinter is a dual-certified Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine physician with broad experience across high-volume emergency departments and remote island communities. He joined Doctors Hospital in 2023 and provides patient-centred care in both the Family Medicine Clinic and Urgent Care. Trained at the University of Kentucky and Memorial University of Newfoundland, he has a wide scope of practice shaped by rural medicine, chronic disease management, and preventive care. Dr. Kwinter is also an experienced medical educator, having taught medical students, residents, and nurse practitioner trainees. Outside of work, he enjoys open-water swimming, programming, and being a father to three boys.
