About Dr. Chelsea Walton
Dr. Chelsea is a Clinical Psychologist with special interests in conducting psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults aimed at highlighting their strengths and areas for growth. She is skilled in providing evidence-based recommendations for individuals with ADHD, autism, and intellectual and learning disabilities.
She also provides culturally sensitive, evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety concerns related to stress, sleep, anxiety, low mood, and behavioural issues. When appropriate, she works closely with parents, schools, physicians, and other health professionals to provide the best quality of care.
Education
Dr. Chelsea completed her undergraduate degree at Stetson University and went on to complete her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at an American Psychological Association-accredited programme at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her past training experiences include providing psychotherapy for adults with long-term mental illness and developing social thinking skills with adults on the autism spectrum. Additionally, she has experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for school-aged children and adults.
