Dr Keelin is a general dental surgeon from Ireland with over eight
years clinical experience, including general practice and emergency
dental care. Prior to commencing
her career in private practice, Dr Keelin held the position of Junior
House Officer in the Dublin Dental Hospital accident & emergency,
providing emergency dental treatment to patients who had sustained
trauma or serious infection. This post also involved treating medically
compromised patients and those with severe bleeding disorders.
Dr Keelin has worked as a general dental surgeon in private practice
since 2008, providing routine restorative care, preventative dentistry,
pediatric dentistry, endodontic treatment, periodontal treatment,
prosthodontics and oral surgery.
Dr Keelin holds her M.F.D.S (Part I and Part II) awarded by the Royal
College of Surgeons in Ireland and in addition to her dental
qualification, she also holds an honors undergraduate degree in
Physiology (B.A (Mod) Physiology) awarded by Trinity College Dublin. Dr
Keelin was also a recipient of the prestigious Trinity Academic
Scholarship Award (“Schols”).
Dr Keelin was involved in the Oral Cancer Awareness campaigns in
Ireland and indeed was nominated for Irish ‘Sensodyne’ Dentist of the
Year in 2014.
Dr Keelin would pride herself in having a very patient focused
manner, with a specific interest in treating anxious patients and
children. She is married and a mother to three children.
