About Dr. Boban Kostich
Dr. Kostich was born in Belgium and grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. He spent one year as a dentist in the Air
Force before returning to South Africa, where he worked for government
dental services before opening a private practice in 1988 in
Johannesburg.
In 2006, he arrived in the Cayman Islands with his wife, Svetlana (Lana), and two daughters, Pavla and Katarina, who are now both College students.
He was drawn to work at Smile Dental Clinic, because the philosophy on caring for patients matched what he was doing in South Africa. Smile Dental also has up-to-date technologies, sterilization and materials and the staff are knowledgeable, certified and compassionate.
He loves his profession and has committed himself to a lifetime of learning as you can see with all his memberships and associations that he is a part of. He has also spread his knowledge by lecturing at courses and congresses in South Africa on High Tech in Dentistry and Smile Simulations. He also gave a talk on Oral cancer to the Cayman Island Cancer Society. He is skilled in all areas of dentistry, but my main interests are in Implantology and Esthetics.
When he's not at Smile Dental Clinic, you’ll find him reading, watching movies, playing poker, golfing and watching sports. He joined Rotary Sunrise Cayman Islands in 2007 and has been involved in a lot of community activities, fundraisers and International programs.
